Recap: Solomon vs. Wakefield
Solomon took the match and then some with a 54-6 win on Friday over Wakefield. The success made it back-to-back wins for Solomon.
Solomon's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 54 points in the first half. Wakefield came up with 6 to make it 54-6 heading into the break. The Solomon defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 0 and all but finishing the contest.
Senior Logan Krause, who rushed for 157 yards and 2 touchdowns, was a major factor in Solomon's success. Junior Cobey Fiske was in the mix, too, providing Solomon with 2 touchdowns. The game pushed Wakefield down to 0-2 and pulled Solomon up to the reverse at 2-0.
Next week Solomon take on Moundridge at 7:00 PM. As for Wakefield, they will face off against Goessel.
