Football Recap: Mt. Lebanon Comes Up Short

If Mt. Lebanon was riding high fresh off their 41-20 takedown of Seneca Valley last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Blue Devils took a 28-19 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Allegheny Tigers on Friday. The Blue Devils have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Mt. Lebanon's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for North Allegheny, their record now sits at 6-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mt. Lebanon will host Penn Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Blue Devils will be up against the Indians' rather soft defense (which has allowed 27.57 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for North Allegheny, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Canon-McMillan at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
