Volleyball Recap: Rock Bridge Falls Despite Big Games from Chloe Bakker and Terry Schrock

If Rock Bridge was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Smith-Cotton on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bruins took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Staley Falcons on Saturday. The Bruins were not able to make up for their defeat to the Falcons from their previous meeting back in September of 2017.

Terry Schrock and Chloe Bakker certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Schrock had ten digs and two assists, while Bakker had 12 assists. Bakker is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Rock Bridge's record now sits at 11-7. As for Staley, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Rock Bridge didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Eldon on the 20th. As for Staley, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Nixa on the 20th.
