Volleyball Recap: Sheboygan South Comes Up Short

After flying high against Green Bay East last Thursday, Sheboygan South came back down to earth. The Redwings came up short against the West Bend West Spartans on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Redwings in their meetings with the Spartans: they've now lost five in a row.

While Sheboygan South was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into West Bend West's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-15, 25-20.

Sheboygan South's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for West Bend West, their victory bumped their record up to 8-13.

After both having extra time off, Sheboygan South and West Bend East will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Bend West, they will be taking part in a tournament against Kimberly at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
