Volleyball Recap: Pueblo Takes a Loss

Pueblo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Sahuaro Cougars. The Warriors were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cougars earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

Brooklyn Rosthlenhauser-Espinoza paced Pueblo's offense, picking up nine kills. Rosthlenhauser-Espinoza got some help from Anette Urquijo and her 22 assists. Rosthlenhauser-Espinoza was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Pueblo's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Sahuaro, their win bumped their record up to 2-5.

Pueblo has already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Sunnyside on the 2nd. As for Sahuaro, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Sabino on the 30th.
