Recap: Colusa RedHawks vs. Sweetwater Red Devils
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Colusa RedHawks walked away with it. They strolled past the Red Devils with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 33-17. The win was just business as usual for Colusa, who after 14 games remain undefeated this season.
Colusa had a senior duo take command as Aiden Selover rushed for 35 yards and three touchdowns and Bo Coronado threw for 132 yards and two touchdowns while completing 84.6% of his passes. Those three rushing touchdowns set a new season-high mark for him.
Despite the loss, Sweetwater still got an impressive performance from Xzavier Crews, who rushed for 120 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries.
Colusa's win bumped their record up to 14-0. As for Sweetwater, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-7.
Colusa does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Sweetwater also has no future games currently scheduled.
