Baseball Game Preview: Lake Highlands Wildcats vs. Irving Tigers

For the second straight game, Lake Highlands will face off against Irving. The Wildcats will be playing in front of their home fans against the Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Lake Highlands is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.

Lake Highlands barely beat Irving the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wildcats never let the Tigers get on the board and left with a 7-0 win on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won ten matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Lake Highlands' victory bumped their record up to 15-4-2. As for Irving, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-19-1 record this season.
