Soccer Recap: Sumter County Takes a Loss

After soaring to five goals the game before, Sumter County was a bit more limited in their matchup on Thursday. They lost 10-0 to the Columbus Blue Devils. Sumter County have struggled against Columbus recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Sumter County's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Columbus, the victory (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 14-1.

Sumter County wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, an 8-2 defeat against Dodge County on the 18th. Columbus does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
