Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Atwater). They came out on top against the Ceres Bulldogs by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. Even though the Falcons got in a bit of trouble with the refs ( Adrian Tinoco was handed a red card), the team managed to overcome the adversity.
Atwater hit Ceres with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from
Paul Avila,
Aadan Cisneros, and
Julian Zaragoza.
Atwater now has a winning record of 2-1-2. As for Ceres, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 1-1-1.
Atwater will be taking part in a tournament against Madera at 10:20 a.m. on Friday. As for Ceres, they will take on Modesto in a tournament on Friday.
