Meanwhile, Colorado Springs Christian had just enough and edged out Manitou Springs 3-2 on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won three in a row.

Colorado Springs Christian wouldn't go down easily and took Manitou Springs into a fifth set where they got it done with a ten-point win. The match finished with set scores of 13-25, 25-7, 25-18, 21-25, 15-5.

Kent Denver's loss dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Colorado Springs Christian, their win bumped their record up to 7-9.
