Soccer Game Preview: Humble vs. North Shore

The Humble Wildcats will venture away from home to face off against the North Shore Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Humble is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.

Humble's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over Kingwood.

Meanwhile, North Shore's game on Friday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They came out on top against King by a score of 2-0. The win continues a trend for the Mustangs in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won three in a row.

Humble's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-2. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four matches. As for North Shore, they now have a winning record of 6-5-3.

Humble took their win against North Shore in their previous matchup back in January by a conclusive 4-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Humble since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
