Spartanburg Christian Academy and Pee Dee Academy squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Spartanburg Christian Academy had to settle for second. They took a 37-24 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pee Dee Academy Golden Eagles. The Warriors' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Despite the loss, Spartanburg Christian Academy had strong showings from Emily Robinson, who posted ten points and seven rebounds, and Delaney Caldwell, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and ten boards. Spartanburg Christian Academy is 15-4 when Caldwell posts eight or more boards, but 3-4 otherwise.

It was another big night for Rebecca Hammond, who scored 15 points along with eight rebounds and five steals for Pee Dee Academy. That makes it four consecutive games in which Hammond has scored at least a third of Pee Dee Academy's points.
