Basketball Recap: New Auburn Piles Up the Points Against Winter

New Auburn had to skate by with only a three-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 44-point drubbing they dealt Winter on Tuesday. The New Auburn Trojans breezed by the Winter Warriors to the tune of 88-44. For the Trojans, this counts as revenge for the 85-82 win the Warriors walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

New Auburn now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Winter, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

New Auburn will head out on the road to take on Prairie Farm at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Winter, they will take on Flambeau at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. Flambeau has insisted on making their lastfour contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 3-1 during that stretch of close contests.
