Baseball Recap: Gilman Comes Up Short

The Gilman Pirates came up short against the Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran Lancers on Wednesday and fell 4-1.

Gilman saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Makii Austin, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Gilman dropped their record down to 11-11 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 15-2.

As of now, neither Gilman nor the Lancers have any future games scheduled.
