Baseball Game Preview: Fort Zumwalt North Panthers vs. Washington Bluejays

For the second straight game, Fort Zumwalt North will face off against Washington. The Panthers will head out on the road to square off against the Bluejays at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The last four games Fort Zumwalt North has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Fort Zumwalt North is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Washington just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Bluejays by a score of 2-1.

For Washington's part, Mason Theis spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on five hits.

On the hitting side, Washington saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grant Hummel, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Washington's victory bumped their record up to 5-18. As for Fort Zumwalt North, they now have a losing record of 8-9.
