Volleyball Recap: Chavez Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Chavez had lost six straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Wednesday they dropped down to 1-5 to make it seven. They lost 3-0 to the Franklin Yellowjackets. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Titans have suffered since October 2, 2024.

As for Franklin, the victory got them back to even at 3-3. They not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 30, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

Franklin's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Karen Castro, who had 23 digs and three aces. Castro has been hot, having posted 13 or more digs the last five times she's played. Jasmine Nieto was another key player, getting 12 digs and three aces.

After both having extra time off, Chavez and Mountain House will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Franklin, they will square off against Manteca at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
