Basketball Recap: Haworth Comes Up Short

Haworth was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Canadian Cougars and fell 64-24. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 470th, while the Cougars are ranked 208th).

Haworth's loss dropped their record down to 1-19. As for Canadian, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.

Haworth does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Canadian, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 50-40 defeat against Wright City on the 15th.
