It may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Montour ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Moon Area Tigers, sneaking past 1-0. This was a revenge game for Montour: when they faced off against Moon Area back in September, they had to take a 2-1 loss.

Montour's one-goal win came courtesy of Mario Passaro, who's now up to four this season.

Montour pushed their record up to 9-7 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those three contests. As for Moon Area, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 9-1 and their overall record down to 12-5.

Coincidentally, Montour and Moon Area will both be playing Chartiers Valley the next time they take the pitch. The Tigers will head out to face the Colts at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Spartans will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
