Meanwhile, after soaring to 49 points the game before, Stevens Point was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They took a 28-13 bruising from D.C. Everest. The game marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Marshfield has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 29.8 points over those games. As for Stevens Point, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-3 record this season.

Marshfield might still be hurting after the 35-13 defeat they got from Stevens Point in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Tigers were down 28-6.
