Belfry won the last time they faced Paintsville and things went their way on Thursday too. The Pirates blew past the Tigers 15-2. The result was nothing new for the Pirates, who have now won eight matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.

Belfry's victory bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Paintsville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Belfry will challenge Pike County Central at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Paintsville, they will venture away from home to challenge Leslie County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
