Basketball Recap: Bloomington Comes Up Short

Bloomington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss. They took a blow against the Peoria Notre Dame Irish, falling 65-29. The Purple Raiders were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-10.

Bloomington's defeat dropped their record down to 1-23. As for Peoria Notre Dame, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-16.

Coming up, Bloomington will challenge Lincoln at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Peoria Notre Dame, they will face off against Centennial at 7:00 p.m. on February 14th.
