Basketball Recap: Auburndale Takes Down Kathleen in a Playoff Battle

With a playoff win on the line, Auburndale rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Kathleen Red Devils by a score of 64-51. The Bloodhounds haven't had any issues with the Red Devils recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Auburndale can attribute much of their success to JOHAN DUNCAN, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and ten boards. Those ten rebounds gave DUNCAN a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Aiden Curry, who dropped a double-double with ten points and ten boards.

Auburndale's victory bumped their record up to 20-6. As for Kathleen, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-20 record this season.

Auburndale wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 58-43 win against Lake Wales on the 7th. Kathleen does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
