Baseball Recap: Marshall Victorious

Marshall saw some tournament action on Saturday. They walked away with a 5-2 win over the Michigan Center Cardinals.

Marshall has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Michigan Center, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Marshall wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 11-1 win against Sand Creek on the 19th. As for Michigan Center, they have also already played their next match, a 10-0 defeat against Union City on the 19th.
