Baseball Recap: Lakeside Christian Takes a Loss

After flying high against Oasis Christian last Friday, Lakeside Christian came back down to earth. The Lakeside Christian Lions fell just short of the Canterbury Crusaders by a score of 2-0 on Monday. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Lions were not able to get on the board.

Lakeside Christian's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Canterbury, they pushed their record up to 4-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lakeside Christian will venture away from home to square off against Keswick Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Canterbury, they will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against Admiral Farragut at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Admiral Farragut is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.4 runs per game this season.
