Basketball Recap: Roseville Extends Winning Streak to Three

Roseville had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They strolled past the Irondale Knights with points to spare, taking the game 58-44. Given the Raiders' advantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 134th, while the Knights are ranked 299th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Roseville's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-14. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.0 points over those games. As for Irondale, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-22 record this season.

As of now, neither Roseville nor Irondale have any future games scheduled.
