Football Game Preview: Westview Knights vs. Sierra Linda Bulldogs + How To Watch

The Westview Knights will square off against the Sierra Linda Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The timing isn't great for Westview: they have been struggling with five straight losses at home dating back to last season, while Sierra Linda has snatched up five consecutive wins on the road also dating back to last season.

Westview is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Desert Sunrise on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Knights were outmatched by the Golden Hawks and fell 49-18. The Knights were down 35-12 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Despite the loss, Westview saw an underclassman step up: sophomore CJ Lusk rushed for 77 yards and one TD.

Meanwhile, Sierra Linda ended up a good deal behind Gila Ridge on Friday and lost 33-18.

Westview's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Sierra Linda, their loss dropped their record down to 7-2.
