Preview: Riverstone International Otters vs. Rimrock Raiders
The Riverstone International Otters will be playing at home against the Rimrock Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
In what's become a running theme this season, Riverstone International gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They breezed by Vision on the road to the tune of 67-36. The win was familiar territory for Riverstone International who now have three in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Riverstone International to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jason Koval, who scored 18 points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack Scripps, who scored 13 points.
Rimrock fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back victories it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They took their matchup at home on Monday with ease, bagging a 48-20 win over Centennial Baptist.
Riverstone International is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. As for Rimrock, their victory bumped their record up to 7-12.
Riverstone International was able to grind out a solid win over Rimrock when the teams last played back in January, winning 47-35. Will Riverstone International repeat their success, or does Rimrock have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
