After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Oakmont, Center was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They skirted past the Marysville Indians 3-2. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Cougars as it put an end to their four-match losing streak.

Center took Marysville into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-19, 24-26, 16-25, 15-13.

Isabella Kossov paced Center's offense, picking up 16 kills. Kossov got some help from Renee Bermejo and her 41 assists.

Center's win bumped their record up to 4-10. As for Marysville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-21 record this season.

Center has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Lincoln on the 16th. As for Marysville, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Oakmont on the 16th.
