Football Recap: West Holt Huskies vs. South Loup
West Holt fell victim to South Loup and their airtight defense on Friday. They were outmatched by South Loup and fell 28-0. The Huskies lost against South Loup in their previous head to head back in September of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 25-24 score last time.
Gabriel Monasterio threw for 44 yards while completing 71.4% of his passes. Marek Dvorak was his top target, picking up 35 receiving yards.
South Loup was led to victory by Dylan Pandorf and Conner Paulsen. Pandorf rushed for 140 yards and three TDs on only 11 carries, while Paulsen rushed for 133 yards and one touchdown. That's the most rushing yards Paulsen has posted since back in October of 2024.
West Holt's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for South Loup, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Meanwhile, South Loup is set to face off against their familiar foe Pleasanton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. That game will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Pandorf and Brennan Lindner.
