Palma snaps four-game streak of wins at home

Recap: Palma vs. Monterey
The Palma Chieftains fell victim to the Monterey Dores's stalwart defense on Wednesday and couldn't make it onto the board. They fell just short of the Dores by a score of 1-0. Palma has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Palma's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-9-3. As for Monterey, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 12-5-2 record this season.
Palma does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Monterey, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Rancho San Juan at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Rancho San Juan's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
