Basketball Recap: Rogers Heritage Comes Up Short

Rogers Heritage saw some tournament action on Wednesday. They took a 52-34 bruising from the McDonald County Mustangs. The game marked the War Eagles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Dakota O'Brien went supernova For McDonald County., almost dropping a double-double with 22 points and nine boards. The matchup was O'Brien's 12th in a row with at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jamie Washam, who almost dropped a double-double with 14 points and nine rebounds.

Rogers Heritage's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for McDonald County, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coincidentally, Rogers Heritage and McDonald County will both be playing Pea Ridge the next time they take the court. The War Eagles will head out to face the Blackhawks at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Mustangs will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
