Basketball Recap: Labette County Grizzlies vs. Parsons Vikings
Labette County lost against Parsons back in December of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Labette County Grizzlies fell 70-62 to the Parsons Vikings. The Grizzlies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kegan Bates and Nolan Nash certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Bates went 13-for-22 to rack up 31 points and three steals, while Nash went 6-for-14 en route to 15 points along with six boards and four steals. Those 31 points gave Bates a new career-high. Tucker Rush also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.
Labette County's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Parsons, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-6-1.
Labette County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 69-48 defeat against Chanute on the 14th. As for Parsons, they have also already played their next contest, a 55-53 victory against Pittsburg on the 14th.
