Soccer Game Preview: Clovis East vs. Justin Garza

The Clovis East Timberwolves will take on the Justin Garza Guardians at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Clovis East's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Clovis East is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Dinuba on Tuesday. The Timberwolves and the Emperors finished up their matchup with a 2-2 draw.

Noah Naranjo and Christian Thoa scored both of Clovis East's goals, bringing their combined season tally to nine goals.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Justin Garza). They came out on top against Madera South by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday.

Justin Garza's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3-1. Clovis East's draw gives them a new season record of 3-2-1.

Clovis East beat Justin Garza 4-2 in their previous meeting back in November of 2023. Will the Timberwolves repeat their success, or do the Guardians have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
