Basketball Recap: Silver Creek Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Homestead, Silver Creek was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They managed a 45-40 win over the Santa Clara Bruins. The 45-point effort marked the Raiders' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Silver Creek's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Santa Clara, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Silver Creek won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Los Altos at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Santa Clara, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Jefferson at 1:30 p.m. on December 31st.
