It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Sports Leadership & Management can now relate to. They fell just short of the Boulder City Eagles by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. The Bulls' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Nicole Carrasco put in work while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over 7.2 innings pitched. What's more, she gave up only four hits, the fewest she's had since back in March. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting three hits from her three at bats.

Carrasco wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Sonny Johnson, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

Sports Leadership & Management's loss dropped their record down to 21-4. As for Boulder City, the win (which was their 17th in a row) raised their record to 21-7.

As of now, neither Sports Leadership & Management nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
