Basketball Recap: Winder-Barrow Comes Up Short

Winder-Barrow lost against Jackson County on January 3rd and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Winder-Barrow Bulldoggs took a 49-35 bruising from the Jackson County Panthers. While losing is never fun, the Bulldoggs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 379th, while the Panthers are ranked 186th).

Winder-Barrow has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-15 record this season. As for Jackson County, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.

Winder-Barrow has already played their next matchup (against Loganville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Jackson County and Clarke Central will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played.
