East Valley Athletes for Christ typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday Imagine Prep proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 76-68 win over the East Valley Athletes for Christ Eagles. Winning may never get old, but the Storm sure are getting used to it with their 11th in a row.

Imagine Prep had a senior duo take command as Jaylen Cassidy went 7 of 11 on his way to 22 points along with seven assists and five steals and Dylan Eaddy dropped a double-double on 20 points and 13 boards. Cassidy is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed four or more in the last 11 games he's played. Another player making a difference was Seven Howard, who went 5 for 12 en route to 15 points and three steals.

East Valley Athletes for Christ lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Michael Sorensen, who went 5 of 7 on his way to 14 points and eight rebounds. Jonathan Miller was another key player, putting up ten points in addition to six assists and five steals.

Imagine Prep has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season. As for East Valley Athletes for Christ, their defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 17-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Imagine Prep will square off against Heritage Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for East Valley Athletes for Christ, they will face off against Premier Prep- PHHoenix at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. East Valley Athletes for Christ knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Premier Prep- PHHoenix likes a good challenge.
