Football Recap: Bloomington Comes Up Short

Bloomington came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Carter Lions, falling 36-14. The Bruins were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 29-8.

Despite the loss, Bloomington still got an impressive performance from Derek Fraembs, who rushed for 160 yards on only 15 carries. Fraembs' longest rush was for an impressive 60 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Even if they lost, Bloomington's defensive line still kept up the pressure with three sacks. Russell Robinson was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two himself.

Deshalon Allen had a dynamite game For Carter., rushing for 106 yards and one touchdown on only nine carries, while also picking up 69 receiving yards and one TD. Drelon Allen also helped with two scores in total.

Bloomington now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Carter, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-3.
