Recap: Black Hills Wolves vs. Centralia Tigers

Make it eight blowout wins for the Black Hills Wolves this season. They blew past Centralia 48-28. The win was just what Black Hills needed coming off of a 78-33 defeat in their prior match.

Black Hills was led to victory by Ava Klovas and Tyler Venable. Klovas dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds, while Venable scored 15 points along with six steals and three blocks. That's the first time this season that Venable posted two or more blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Claire Johnson, who scored no points along with 12 rebounds and two steals.

Black Hills is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season. As for Centralia, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-12.

Black Hills will be playing in front of their home fans against Tumwater at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Centralia will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against WF West at 7:00 p.m. on January 31st. WF West knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matches -- so hopefully Centralia likes a good challenge.
