It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Bedford ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They skirted past the Portsmouth Clippers 12-11. For the Bulldogs, this counts as revenge for the 15-5 win the Clippers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2025.
Bedford's victory bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Portsmouth, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-7.
