Basketball Game Preview: Springfield Cougars vs. Harriton Rams

Having just played yesterday, the Springfield Cougars will head out on the road to face off against the Harriton Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

It was a proper cat-fight when Springfield duked it out with Strath Haven on Monday. The Cougars blew past the Panthers 54-34. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Harriton had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 62-50.

Springfield's record now sits at 18-2. As for Harriton, their record is now 10-7.

Everything came up roses for Springfield against Harriton in their previous matchup back in December of 2025, as the squad secured a 67-30 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
