Basketball Recap: Green River Comes Up Short in High-Profile Match with Natrona County

On Saturday, Green River faced Natrona County in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Green River Wolves took a 60-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Natrona County Mustangs. The Wolves were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Mustangs earlier this season, when they won 58-54.

Green River's defeat dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Natrona County, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

Coming up, Green River will head out on the road to square off against Rock Springs at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Natrona County, they will face off against Kelly Walsh at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
