Basketball Recap: Lake Country Classical Academy Takes a Loss

After flying high against Lincoln Academy last Monday, Lake Country Classical Academy came back down to earth. The Lake Country Classical Academy Sentinels took a hard 60-41 fall against the New Berlin West Vikings on Saturday. While losing is never fun, the Sentinels can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 338th, while the Vikings are ranked 66th).

Despite the loss, Lake Country Classical Academy still got an impressive performance from Jude Kolstad, who went 11-for-17 on his way to 22 points. Another player making a difference was Ryan Low, who posted nine points.

Lake Country Classical Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 11-8. As for New Berlin West, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.

Looking ahead, Lake Country Classical Academy will head out on the road to challenge Abundant Life at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. New Berlin West has already played their next contest (against Greendale), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
