Volleyball Recap: CHESS Christian Comes Up Short

If CHESS Christian was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Temple Christian on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Royals lost 3-0 to the Cincinnati Trailblazers HomeSchool Trailblazers on Monday.

CHESS Christian was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-16, 25-22.

CHESS Christian has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-10 record this season. As for Cincinnati Trailblazers HomeSchool, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-8 record this season.
