New Washington will bounce into Friday's game after beating Henryville, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. New Washington came out on top against Henryville by a score of 47-38 on Friday. The contest marked the Mustangs' most dominant win of the season so far.

Meanwhile, Austin had just enough and edged Springs Valley out 34-32 on Saturday.

New Washington's victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-8. As for Austin, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-8.
