Baseball Recap: Enterprise Starts Season with Win Against Lee-Scott Academy

Enterprise had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They put the hurt on the Lee-Scott Academy Warriors with a sharp 13-1 win.

The team relied heavily on Cayden Boutwell, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Brady Cavanaugh, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one triple and two RBI.

Enterprise always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .548. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lee-Scott Academy only posted an OBP of .174.

Lee-Scott Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Wildcats take on the Panthers at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Lee-Scott Academy, they will square off against Pike Road at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
