Softball Recap: Green Sea Floyds Comes Up Short

Green Sea Floyds suffered their closest defeat since March 7th on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Carvers Bay Bears by a score of 4-2. The Trojans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bears earlier this season, when they won 7-2.

Kalleigh Wilhelm made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run and one double. That home run marked the first that she launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ali Elliott, who went 2-for-3 with one home run.

Green Sea Floyds now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Carvers Bay, their record is now 4-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Green Sea Floyds will face off against Lake View at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Carvers Bay, they will challenge Andrews at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
