Basketball Game Preview: Dundy County-Stratton Tigers vs. Alma Cardinals

Dundy County-Stratton picked up another tournament win on Friday. They came out on top against Paxton by a score of 48-37.

Ethan Latta continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. The contest was his third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Lane Bybee, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten boards.

Meanwhile, you can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Alma's strategy against Bertrand on Friday. Alma took down Bertrand 54-38.

Alma pushed their record up to 16-2 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.8 points per game. As for Dundy County-Stratton, their win bumped their record up to 14-3.

Dundy County-Stratton took their victory against Alma in their previous meeting back in January of 2017 by a conclusive 62-37. Will Dundy County-Stratton repeat their success, or does Alma have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
