Groveton posted their closest  win since March 7th on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  4-2  victory over the Hemphill Hornets. This was a revenge game for the Indians: when they faced off against the Hornets  back in March, they had to take a  6-1  loss.
 JAKE PLOTTS spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned  (and one unearned) run on four hits and racked up nine Ks. He has been consistent  recently: he hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side, Groveton's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit.
