Mead's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They blew past the Longmont Trojans 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Mavericks also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Mead now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Longmont, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Mead didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Palmer Ridge on the 30th. As for Longmont, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Silver Creek at 6:00 p.m. on September 9.
